Hello, and welcome to my homemade site about me and the walking experiences I've done and have planned for the next year or so.
Please note: 'I walk for fun', I have no expertise in the field of walking, health or fitness so anything I publish is purely my opinion, it's stuff that helps and suits me.....so it may help or interest you, or it may not!!
My name is Graham Hayes, I'm 47 years old and since the age of 9 my life has pretty much been all about music, I can't live without it, especially the trombone. I played and practiced all through my schooling and in Sept 1987 I joined The Band of HM Royal Marines. I served for 17 years, travelling the whole of the UK and covering most of the world. One of my highlights being, playing a solo for HM The Queen on board HM Yacht Britannia in 1994. I left in 2004. A fantastic career, being paid for doing something I loved......

Most of my time at the shop is spent in the brass repair workshop, and for a couple of mornings a week I teach.....and when I can..... I WALK!!!
